Regular Council Meetings

Regular Council Meetings are held in the Dr. S. F. Monestime Council Chambers located in the Municipal Office Building at 160 Water Street in Mattawa.  Meetings are set every 2nd and 4th Monday of every month with a start time of 6:00 pm sharp with the exception of July, August and December when there is only 1 regular meeting the 2nd Monday of the month.

If you or your group wish to speak to or make a presentation to Council, you must be placed on the agenda by completing the "Request to Present to Council" form.  You can either download the form here or contact the Clerk's Department and request the form be sent to you via email.

Council Meeting Agendas and Minutes

Agendas and minutes are displayed on the website for 2 years (current year and previous year only).  If you wish to have the agendas and minutes from previous years not displayed please contact the Clerk's Department during regular office hours.

Current agenda packages will not be printed for public viewing during the meetings and are accessible on the website.  The night of the meeting staff will print the front cover of the agenda showing what is going to be discussed.  If a member of the public would like a copy of the agenda please contact the Clerk's Department and one can be printed in advance.  Please note that the deadline to get an agenda printed for the meeting will be no later than an hour before the start time of the meeting.
