A reminder from Hydro One that there is a planned power outage in Mattawa on June 28, 2026 from approximately 6:00am until 10:00am.

For additional information, customers can visit our outage map and select “Future Planned Outages” in the legend, or contact Hydro One at 1-888-664-9376. I have also included a screenshot of the outage map highlighting the impacted area for your reference.

We understand that power outages can be disruptive and appreciate the community’s patience and understanding. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. I’ve included some information below that may be helpful for you and your constituents.

Customers are encouraged to prepare for the outage by taking the following steps:                                                                                                                

• Ensure appliances, such as stoves, are in the off position.
• Make sure cellphones and other devices are fully charged.
• Use a battery-powered alarm clock or cellphone to avoid missed alarms.
• Keep refrigerator and freezer doors closed as much as possible; consider using a cooler with ice for items needed during the outage.
• If water services may be affected, consider filling jugs of water for drinking and cooking.
